General Rules:

**Registration and Exam Notes: You can register with one selection, but for the provincial competitions, you must have two selections prepared. If you choose two selections, they must be selected from different lists.

**Competitor Level Selection Guidelines: If the exam takes place after January 31, 2025, candidates can continue to register for competitions at the same level; however, candidates whose exams are before this date cannot.

1. Memorization is optional but recommended. Bonus points will be award for memorization.

2. NEW: Participants may enter a class more than once as long as different repertoire is entered. A separate registration is required for each entry.

3. A piece cannot be used by a competitor in more than one class. Repertoire which does not coincide with stated categories will result in disqualification. 

4. To be eligible for a scholarship, competitors must enter a minimum of two classes and receive a minimum mark of 85.

5. Da capo and dal segno signs must be played. Repeats should NOT be played unless otherwise indicated in either the RCM or CC Syllabus.

6. Performance times MUST be included on the entry form.

7. IN PERSON Competition only. 
   All classes in this section are eligible to proceed to the Provincial level of competition which will be held in Kitchener-Waterloo, June 9-14, 2025, upon adjudicator recommendation.
