General Rules:​

 

**Competitor Level Selection Guidelines: If the exam takes place after January 31, 2026, candidates can continue to register for competitions at the same level; however, candidates whose exams are before this date cannot.

**Competitors can enter as many classes as they like, however they must all be at the SAME level, ex. Gr. 3 List A, List B, NOT Gr. 4 List A

​

**Vocal, strings and woodwinds participants must provide their own live accompaniment. Exceptions are noted in individual classes. Accompanist fees are not included in registration fees.

​

** Open Class are for who are currently working at the ARCT level or higher.

 

**All participants must supply an original copy of their music for the adjudicator. Accompanists must have original music with them displayed on the piano or beside it, however may use photocopies(or iPad) from which to play.

​

**2 pieces requirement for gr. 1 - Open and qualify for provincials.
